Bihar Board (BSEB) · Class 10 · Matric exam 2027
How to prepare for the Matric exam 2027 at home — a study plan
The plan is counted back from the exam: the days left, each subject’s chapters in the order of their marks, the daily work and the last week’s revision. The chapter order is from the marks in the board’s real papers, not a guess.
- 1
Count the days to the exam
Of the days from today to the exam, keep at least one week aside for the last revision. Spread every chapter of every subject over the rest — if the days are few, add hours a day; do not drop chapters.
- 2
In each subject, the chapters that carry the most marks first
Below are the chapters of each subject that carried the most marks a year in past papers. Start there; give Maths and Science a little more time each week, but study every subject every week.
- 3
Each day: the lesson, then your own work
The day’s lesson (Medha Ma’am’s 45-minute class in Ask Medha), then that chapter’s objective questions checked against the key, and one or two written questions answered in your notebook and compared point by point with the model answer.
- 4
Bring old mistakes back
Questions you got wrong come back after 3, 10 and 30 days — that is what makes them stick.
- 5
A test every week
On Sunday, a test on the chapters studied, to time and without the book; and from time to time one full past paper of the board.
- 6
The last week: revision only
No new chapter — full papers to time, your own list of mistakes, and the important questions of the chapters that carry the most marks.

Questions parents and students ask
- How many hours a day should I study?
- It follows from the days left — fewer days, more hours. Ask Medha spreads the whole course from the day a student joins to the exam and sets each student’s minimum time a day; there is no limit on studying or practising more.
- Which subject should I start with?
- Study every subject every week, with a little more time for Maths and Science. Within each subject, start with the chapters that carry the most marks — see the list above.
- Is there a timetable with dates?
- The exam dates are the board’s to announce, so there are none here. The plan is built from the days left; in Ask Medha each student’s own plan is built from their own days and checked again every night.
The same preparation, with Medha Ma’am — on your phone
Every question of every chapter with its model answer, practice questions in the board’s own shapes, 45 minutes of class a day, written answers marked, a test every Sunday and a WhatsApp report to parents.
Medha Ma’am is an AI teacher, not a live tutor. Every answer is checked twice; a person takes responsibility.
